Tahsha Mitchell

Tahsha serves as Senior Managing Consultant in Michigan for PFM Asset Management. She assists school districts, local governments and municipalities with cash flow analyses, banking and investment policy reviews in assessing their cash management, bond proceeds, and investment needs.  Tahsha markets the MILAF+ Local Government Investment Pool and the GovMic Asset Class of MILAF+.  With nearly two decades of Banking and Wealth Management experience, she’s worked for JP Morgan and Citizens Bank Wealth Management.  During that time she was responsible for safely managing the assets of high net worth and business clients, in addition to recruiting and coaching top talent. Tahsha was also tasked with increasing the assets of the bank through acquisition of new households, helping clients utilize all services the bank offered to meet their financial needs, as well as retention of existing clients year over year.  Tahsha attributes her success to consistently putting the client’s needs first and treating her team with respect while cultivating an inclusive environment for all.

Tahsha currently holds FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses. She’s also obtained the Certified Public Funds Investment Manager (CPFIM) certification from the Association of Public Treasurers of the United States and Canada.  In addition, she’s also received the “PFM Trusted Advisor Certificate” in 2019 from The Crummer Graduate School of Business.

Lastly, Tahsha is currently an active member of Michigan Women in Finance, Michigan Schools and Business Officials and Michigan Government Finance Officers Association. She also volunteers her time with “Forgotten Harvest” assisting with providing much needed food to families in Michigan.
