Matt Hanigan

Matt Hanigan joined PFM Asset Management in January 2015 and is currently a senior managing consultant staffed in the Chicago office. Matt works closely with school districts, colleges, and a variety of Illinois governmental investors to develop and implement investment strategies, which are tailored to each client’s specific needs. In this role, Matt ensures that the client’s investment objectives and cash flow requirements are integrated into the investment strategy and provides clients with regular updates on their investment programs. His other responsibilities include cash flow modeling, evaluating investment policies & guidelines, investment analysis, providing economic summaries and research, and investment portfolio structuring and restructuring.

Matt is an active member of IASBO, IGFOA, ICCCFO, IACO and is a frequent presenter at various conference and events. Prior to joining the firm full time, Matt graduated from Western Michigan University and was an intern in the Chicago office during the Fall of 2014.
