Eric Simpson

Eric joined PFM Asset Management in 2008, where he served as an intern for four years prior. In 2023, Eric began working with our portfolio strategies group, analyzing and developing investment strategies for current clients and prospects, supporting investment advisory efforts across the country, assisting in the creation of customized portfolios designed to meet specific cash flow needs and providing general analytical support to the firm’s trading desk. From 2018 through the end of 2022, Eric worked as team lead within our analyst pool program. In that role he focused on training and managing analysts who specialized in servicing clients in the Mid-West and Western states of the country. In this capacity, Eric was responsible for managing the creation and distribution of a variety of work products in support of relationship managers, with respect to their ongoing client service and business development needs.

Prior to leading the analyst pool program, Eric worked within the investment accounting department. While a part of the investment accounting team his responsibilities included supporting the firm’s separately managed accounts and multi-asset class management products.
