Alex Goldsmith is a Senior Managing Consultant in PFM Asset Management’s Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) team who manages public retirement plans throughout Pennsylvania and the northeast United States. Alex works with defined-benefit pension plans and other post employment benefit (OPEB) trusts for a range of counties, cities, authorities and municipalities. He joined the firm as an analyst in the Investment Research Group in 2012 focusing on private equity, commodities, infrastructure, and real estate.

Prior to joining the firm, Alex was a mergers and acquisitions analyst with Wells Fargo Securities in Los Angeles, where he participated in a number of M&A and private equity financing transactions across a variety of industries.
